For years, we’ve been working towards a way to allow our affiliates to earn unlimited VersaPoints by simply shopping at their favorite local merchants.

But Localvantia won’t be just grocery stores, gas stations, and places to eat.  On the contrary, Localvantia is designed to cover essentially ALL merchants with products and services consumed locally.

How you’ll earn & receive VersaPoints

1. Simply make a purchase at a participating merchant…and get a receipt for your purchase.
2. Go to localvantia.com and fill out a simple Points Claim Form and attach (upload) a photo of your receipt as proof of your purchase.
3. We’ll invoice the merchant for the cost of your points.
4. Once the points have been paid for by the merchant, they will be added to your account.

While the opportunity in the near future to earn unlimited VersaPoints just by shopping at your favorite merchants is BIG, the biggest news today is the Localvantia pre-registration program.
Starting today, all SFI affiliates with the minimum rank of Executive Affiliate (EA), can start pre-registering their local merchants.
It’s this simple:

1. Visit your favorite merchant(s).
2. Take a good picture of their storefront.
3. Go to https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/lv_prereg and complete the pre-registration form for the merchant and upload the photo you took.
4. Monitor your list of registered merchants and results at: https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/lv_mymerchants

Then, this fall, when the Localvantia website/search engine goes live, the merchants will be contacted directly to confirm their registration and formally opt in to the program.
Note: Follow-up contact with the merchant may involve SFI and/or you—the affiliate who pre-registered them—so do not pre-register any merchants you’re not willing to follow up on later.  What form will the follow-up take?  It could take many forms, including mailing literature, leaving a brochure for the owner, phone calls, or meetings.

For your accounts (the merchants for which you are the Account Manager), your reward is the opportunity to earn unlimited Bonus VP (each worth one share of the TripleClicks Executive Pool)!
That is, for each VersaPoint dispensed by your merchants, you’ll earn one Bonus VP!
Imagine you’ve signed up a popular restaurant or grocery store that SFI affiliates shop at, who earn themselves 50,000 VP a month from their purchases there.  That’s 50,000 Bonus VP (shares of the TripleClicks Executive Pool) for you each month, just for introducing the merchant to the Localvantia program.  And that’s just for ONE merchant; you could have dozens or even hundreds of merchants!

Note: For quality control reasons, you will be limited to a nominal number of pre-registrations per day to start (just one per day to start).  We will review all submissions daily.  Once you’ve demonstrated that your pre-registrations are accurate, error-free, and include a quality photo, your limit will be raised…and we’ll keep raising your limit so long as a high level of quality is maintained.

Q: When will Localvantia go live and be available to customers?
We hope to launch Localvantia no later than the end of October.
Q: Why do a “pre-launch,” why not just launch Localvantia now?
Because for Localvantia to succeed, we need our army of affiliates around the world to get to work NOW…pre-registering thousands of local merchants, so that when Localvantia is ready to go live to the public it can have thousands of merchants confirmed and participating.
Q: Won’t taking a picture of the purchase receipt and uploading the picture to receive points be hard to do?
No.  Simply take a quick picture of the receipt with your phone’s camera.  Then, at the Points Claim Form, you’ll be able to quickly and easily click a button and choose the picture you took and upload it.  That’s it.  Very simple and easy.
Q: Will merchants be able to see the photo of the receipt?
Yes, that’s the primary reason for uploading the photo, so that merchants can confirm your purchase and pay the points due.
Q: Is Localvantia only for SFI affiliates?
No.  For TripleClicks members, MRP (Member Rewards Points) can be earned.  So VersaPoints for SFI affiliates, and MRP for TC members.
Q: Will there be a Localvantia app for my smart phone?
Localvantia will be fully mobile-friendly and should work great on your smart phone.
Q: Why will merchants want to participate in the Localvantia program?
Because it will be one of the easiest ways to increase their sales.  Think about it:  Are YOU more likely to shop at the local merchants in your area that reward you with free VersaPoints?  Of course.  And what about the dozens, hundreds, or thousands of other affiliates and members in the area?  They too will have a great incentive to buy from “Localvantians.”
Q: Is Localvantia expensive for merchants to participate in?
Definitely not.  In fact, for most merchants, the sales they’ll get from being in the Localvantia network, will cost them but a few cents.  Compared to the cost of advertising in newspapers, on radio, etc., Localvantia may be THE best bargain in advertising and customer retainment they will EVER see.
Q: If merchants have to be invoiced for points, does that mean it will take a long time to get my VersaPoints?
For merchants brand new to the Localvantia network, it may not be real speedy at first, but we plan to streamline the process so it’s very quick and easy for the merchants to pay their invoices.  And we hope to get as many merchants as possible on a prepaid plan where they’ll actually deposit funds into an account and we’ll draw from that account immediately when a points claim is submitted.  That is, for merchants on the prepaid plan (which will be less expensive for them too), you’ll be able to receive your VersaPoints within hours or even minutes.
Q: I’m an SFI affiliate.  Can I get MRP instead of VersaPoints?
VersaPoints will be the default for SFI affiliates but, yes, we will likely make it so you can choose to receive MRP instead.  There may other options available in the future too.
Q: Will Localvantia make it easier to recruit new affiliates and keep them active?
We sure think so!  Your PSAs can now qualify as Executive Affiliates each month just by buying what they normally buy around town.  That’s huge!  Add to that that they can be earning shares of the TripleClicks Executive Pool doing this, and earn even more money by just letting others know about it, too.  Yes, Localvantia could very well be a game-changer!
Q: Can I pre-register merchants outside of my area?
No.  We want all merchants to have a LOCAL contact.  Therefore, you are limited to merchants in your area.
Q: How will merchants be convinced to opt in to the Localvantia program?
For starters, Localvantia will clearly be seen as one of the easiest, most affordable methods available for them to create new customers and sales.  Being a Localvantia merchant will also give them access to great free tools to help them increase their sales.  And then there’s this:  All prospective Localvantia merchants will be advised of the number of current SFI affiliates and TC members in their area.  Imagine being a merchant and being able to sign up for Localvantia and immediately tap into dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of area affiliates and TC members hungry for free VersaPoints and MRP!  And we’ll make sure all those affiliates and members are aware of every Localvantia merchant in their area.  That is, we’ll prominently and directly promote Localvantia merchants to all our affiliates and members!
Q: Can my PSAs earn 1500 VP (for Executive Affiliate status) just by shopping at Localvantia merchants?
Yes!  And not only that, but as an Executive Affiliate they’ll earn one share of the TripleClicks Executive Pool for each VP.  In other words, not only can your PSAs earn EA status each month without adding anything to their budget, but they’ll also earn income from SFI…meaning they can get all their groceries, gas, etc. at a discount price!
Q: Will there be a way for affiliates, TC members, and the general public to easily discover the Localvantia merchants in their area?
Absolutely!  Localvantia.com will feature a searchable directory of every Localvantia merchant.  Every merchant will have a “profile page” with extensive information, photos, ratings and reviews, and more.  Example: Looking for Localvantia restaurants?  You’ll be able to quickly pull up just these merchants in your area, view photos, read reviews, and more.
Q: What if one of my PSAs is looking for, say, gasoline stations in his area?
Your PSA can go to localvantia.com, do a search on the gasoline/fuel category.  Each found merchant will have a profile page so that your PSA can compare the stations, find the one closest to him/her (will include a Google map), and see how much VP they’ll earn by filling up their tank there!
Q: What should the storefront photo look like that we need to take and upload when pre-registering a merchant?

Q: What if it’s a business that doesn’t have a storefront?
You should, as a general rule, target businesses with storefronts, but if there is no storefront for, say, a local photographer who operates from his or her home, we suggest photographing the owner of the business, perhaps posing with his or her camera.
Q: Once Localvantia launches, will there be literature, brochures, X-Cards, etc. available to give to prospective merchants or for following up?
Yes, there will be a nice array of marketing aids available, both of the printed and digital variety, but remember that pre-registering them is the first step—which you can start doing right now.
Q: What about brand new SFI affiliates?  How will they know about the merchants in their area that offer VersaPoints for shopping with them?
It will be part of the SFI system once Localvantia is launched.  When a new affiliate comes aboard, we’ll let them know about all the Localvantia merchants that they can shop at to earn easy VersaPoints.  As their sponsor, you can help make sure they know about Localvantia merchants, too.
Q: Are the merchants I pre-register permanently mine?
That depends on you.  All merchants you pre-register need to be thought of as accounts, accounts that must be maintained and cared for.  For most merchants, we expect them to opt in to the program without a lot of fuss…and there may be little, if any, ongoing care needed by you, their account manager.  However, there will absolutely be some merchants that will require follow-ups by you, which could include direct mail, phone calls, or personal meetings.  If you’re not willing to be active in this way, you should not pre-register Localvantia merchants.
Q: What is the point of following up on the merchants I pre-register?
First, and most importantly, a follow-up is the mechanism for getting the merchant to confirm the information you’ve pre-registered and formally opted in to the Localvantia program.  Without the merchant doing this, the pre-registration means nothing.  Beyond this, we of course want the merchant to be fully aware of ALL of the program’s potential  benefits so that they are active participants.  This benefits you, the account manager, of course, because it can mean a much higher volume of VersaPoints being dispensed by the merchant–which of course means more Bonus VP and commissions for you.
Q: Are there other aspects of Localvantia for merchants besides just gaining new customers because of SFI sending its affiliates their way?
Yes!  Localvantia merchants will have a slick and easy way to create special discounts and deals to bring in existing customers and attract new customers too.  And we’ll help them promote their special offers, too, such as by alerting every SFI affiliate and TC member in the area—at little or no cost to the merchant!  Other powerful free and inexpensive sales boosters are also planned for Localvantia merchants.
Q: How do I pre-register a merchant for Localvantia?
Here are the simple steps:

1. Visit your favorite merchant(s).

Q: Will the merchants that I pre-register have the opportunity to edit their listing, submit a new photo of their storefront, etc.
Yes. The idea is that by pre-registering them you make it easy for them to get started, but they’ll have the opportunity to replace the photo you took (and add more photos if they want to).  They’ll also be able to update/edit what you’ve entered as well as add much more information to “fill out” their store’s profile in our directory.
Q: What if I don’t do the follow-ups and/or don’t continue to manage my accounts?
If you’re negligent in these areas, your accounts will be eventually reassigned to another account manager in your area, typically one that has demonstrated prowess. The fact is, Localvantia will not be successful if merchants are simply pre-registered and then left to “wither on the vine.”  With the Localvantia program, proactiveness by those referring the merchants is key.  If we want results, if we want to create a truly powerful and beneficial network of merchants where all SFI affiliates can earn their VersaPoints at, we can’t be bashful or demure. If we want to build something truly great here, we need our merchant accounts in the hands of our most productive affiliates.  Ultimately, this is best for everyone.

Is Russia Preparing For A Nuclear War?

Did you know that the Russians have a massive underground complex in the Ural mountains that has been estimated to be approximately 400 square miles in size? In other words, it is roughly as big as the area inside the Washington D.C. beltway. These days, most Americans just assume that the Russians are "our friends" and that a war with Russia could never possibly happen. Today, 81 percent of Russians have a negative opinion of the United States. Are our two countries taking more and more steps towards World War III? Judge for yourself...Back in the 1990s, the Clinton administration was deeply concerned about the construction of this enormous complex deep inside Yamantau mountain, but they could never seem to get any straight answers from the Russians.  The command center for this complex is rumored to be 3,000 feet directly straight down from the summit of this giant rock quartz mountain.  And of course U.S. military officials will admit that there are dozens of other similar sites throughout Russia, although most of them are thought to be quite a bit smaller.  But that is not all that the Russians have been up to.  For example, Russian television has reported that 5,000 new emergency nuclear bomb shelters were scheduled to have been completed in the city of Moscow alone by the end of 2012.  Most Americans don’t realize this, but the Russians have never stopped making preparations for nuclear war.  Meanwhile, the U.S. government has essentially done nothing to prepare our citizens for an attack.  The assumption seems to be that a nuclear attack will probably never happen, and that if it does it will probably mean the end of our civilization anyway. Needless to say, the Russians are very secretive about their massive underground facility at Yamantau mountain, and no American has ever been inside.  The following is what Wikipedia has to say about it… Large excavation projects have been observed by U.S. satellite imagery as recently as the late 1990s, during the time of Boris Yeltsin’s government after the fall of the Soviet Union. Two garrisons, Beloretsk-15 and Beloretsk-16, were built on top of the facility, and possibly a third, Alkino-2, as well, and became the closed town of Mezhgorye in 1995. They are said to house 30,000 workers each. Repeated U.S. questions have yielded several different responses from the Russian government regarding Mount Yamantaw. They have said it is a mining site, a repository for Russian treasures, a food storage area, and a bunker for leaders in case of nuclear war. Responding to questions regarding Yamantaw in 1996, Russia’s Defense Ministry stated: “The practice does not exist in the Defense Ministry of Russia of informing foreign mass media about facilities, whatever they are, that are under construction in the interests of strengthening the security of Russia.” Large rail lines serve the facility. Back in 1996, the New York Times reported on the continuing construction of this site.  U.S. officials were quite puzzled that the Russians were continuing to build it even though the Cold War was supposedly over at that point… In a secret project reminiscent of the chilliest days of the cold war, Russia is building a mammoth underground military complex in the Ural Mountains, Western officials and Russian witnesses say. Hidden inside Yamantau mountain in the Beloretsk area of the southern Urals, the project involves the construction of a huge complex served by a railroad, a highway and thousands of workers. Within the U.S. intelligence community, there was a tremendous amount of debate at that time regarding the purposes of this facility, but what everyone agreed on was that it was going to be absolutely massive… A report in Sovetskaya Rossiya said the project involves construction of a railroad, a modern highway and towns for tens of thousands of workers and their families. “The complex is as big as the Washington area inside the Beltway,” said an American official familiar with intelligence reports. A couple of years later, a top U.S. general said that he believed that the complex at Yamantau had “millions of square feet available for underground facilities”… In 1998, in a rare public comment, then-Commander of the U.S. Strategic Command (STRATCOM) Gen. Eugene Habinger, called Yamantau “a very large complex — we estimate that it has millions of square feet available for underground facilities. We don’t have a clue as to what they’re doing there.” It is believed to be large enough to house 60,000 persons, with a special air filtration system designed to withstand a nuclear, chemical or biological attack. Enough food and water is believed to be stored at the site to sustain the entire underground population for months on end. A few years after that, in 2003, there was an article in the Washington Post by Bruce G. Blair in which Yamantau was mentioned as a potential key target for U.S. nuclear war planners… Die-hard [U.S.] nuclear war planners actually have their eyes on targets in Russia and China, including missile silos and leadership bunkers. For these planners, the Cold War never ended. Their top two candidates [i.e., targets] in Russia are located inside the Yamantau and Kosvinsky mountains in the central and southern Urals. Both were huge construction projects begun in the late 1970s, when U.S. nuclear firepower took special aim at the Communist Party’s leadership complex. Fearing a decapitating strike, the Soviets sent tens of thousands of workers to these remote sites, where U.S. spy satellites spotted them still toiling away in the late 1990s. But the Russians have not just been building giant underground facilities deep in the Urals. They have also been constructing thousands of new underground bomb shelters in major cities such as Moscow. The following is an excerpt from an RT article in 2010… Nearly 5,000 new emergency bomb shelters will be built in Moscow by 2012 to save people in case of potential attacks. Moscow authorities say the measure is urgent as the shelters currently available in the city can house no more that half of its population. In the last 20 years, the area of air-raid defense has been developed little, and the existing shelters have become outdated. Moreover, they are located mostly in the city center, which makes densely populated Moscow outskirts especially vulnerable in the event of a nuclear attack. In order to resolve the issue, the city has given architects a task to construct a typical model of an easy-to-build shelter that will be located all over the city 10 to 15 meters underneath apartment blocks, shopping centers, sport complexes and parks, as in case of attack people will need to reach the shelters within a minute. Of course all of this construction cost the Russians a lot of money. One estimate put the cost at “anywhere from half a billion to a billion dollars”… Though the bunkers are supposed to be designed to shelter the population in the event of a nuclear attack, government officials say it’s only a precaution and they do not expect such an attack or nuclear outbreak (e.g. Chernobyl) to occur. Neither RT or the Russian government provided estimates for the cost of the facilities. A Popular Mechanics article that reviewed a number of different types of bunkers and building practices had varying prices depending on the type of shelter. Since the proposed Russian bunkers would hold roughly 1000 people each (based on the population count and other details), one could estimate that the lowest price point for a bunker this size, with basic necessities like bathrooms and reserve food for a day or two, may run in the area of around $100,000 – $200,000. This would put a conservative price tag for 5000 shelters anywhere from half a billion to a billion dollars. A significant investment, indeed. So what about us? Has the U.S. government constructed any bunkers for the survival of the general population in the United States? Of course not.  In the event of a nuclear war, I guess they just expect pretty much all of us to die. The Russians also recently finished work on a brand new national defense center in Moscow that contains extensive underground facilities… Russia is launching a new national defense facility, which is meant to monitor threats to national security in peacetime, but would take control of the entire country in case of war. The new top-security, fortified facility in Moscow includes several large war rooms, a brand new supercomputer in the heart of a state-of-the-art data processing center, underground facilities, secret transport routes for emergency evacuation and a helicopter pad, which was deployed for the first time on Nov. 24 on the Moscow River. The Defense Ministry won’t disclose the price tag for the site, but it is estimated at the equivalent of several billion dollars. In addition, the Russians have also been developing a new anti-ballistic missile system that is designed to keep U.S. nuclear missiles from getting to their targets in the first place. The U.S. doesn’t have anything like the S-500 that is currently being developed by the Russians.  At the latest, it is scheduled to be deployed in 2017, but there are rumors that it is already starting to be deployed today.  The following comes from military-today.com… The S-500 is not an upgrade of the S-400, but a new design. It uses a lot of new technology and is superior to the S-400. It was designed to intercept ballistic missiles. It is planned to have a range of 500-600 km and hit targets at altitudes as high as 40 km. Some sources claim that this system is capable of tracking 5-20 ballistic targets and intercepting up to 5-10 ballistic targets simultaneously. It can defeat ballistic missiles traveling at 5-7 kilometers per second. It has been reported that this air defense system can also target low orbital satellites. It is planned that the S-500 will shield Moscow and the regions around it. It will replace the current A-135 anti-ballistic missile system. The S-500 missiles will be used only against the most important targets, such as intercontinental ballistic missiles, AWACS and jamming aircraft. Sadly, most Americans are not interested in this stuff at all. These days, most Americans just assume that the Russians are “our friends” and that a war with Russia could never possibly happen. And this week things between the United States and Russia got even more tense.  Barack Obama has already announced that we will be sending “non-lethal” military aid to the Ukrainians, but now the U.S. House of Representatives has overwhelmingly passed a resolution that calls for Obama to send “lethal” military aid to the government in Kiev… Yesterday, in a vote that largely slid under the radar, the House of Representatives passed a resolution urging Obama to send lethal aid to Ukraine, providing offensive, not just “defensive” weapons to the Ukraine army – the same insolvent, hyperinflating Ukraine which, with a Caa3/CC credit rating, last week started preparations to issue sovereign debt with a US guarantee, in essence making it a part of the United States (something the US previously did as a favor to Egypt before the Muslim Brotherhood puppet regime was swept from power by the local army). The resolution passed with broad bipartisan support by a count of 348 to 48. According to DW,  the measure urges Obama to provide Ukraine with “lethal defensive weapon systems” that would better enable Ukraine to defend its territory from “the unprovoked and continuing aggression of the Russian Federation.” “Policy like this should not be partisan,” said House Democrat Eliot Engel, the lead sponsor of the resolution. “That is why we are rising today as Democrats and Republicans, really as Americans, to say enough is enough in Ukraine.” If Obama does decide to send lethal military aid to the Ukrainians, the Russians are going to flip out. Sadly, neither side seems very interested in peace at this point. We just continue to take even more steps along the road toward World War III, and it is a war that the United States is completely and utterly unprepared for.

For a long time, I've been warning you that the big box stores are being less than honest with you when it comes to supplements. In fact, it appears they want to rip you off.

Investigators in New York State have discovered that the merchandising giants, riding high on the health-and-wellness wave, have been overcharging customers for cut-rate herbs, vitamins, minerals and other supplements.

You may have read about it or heard it on the news. But it's even worse than I previously thought.

Technically, these vitamins have the same molecular structure as the natural vitamins. But your body can't absorb them properly, so they pass right through your system without doing any good – or perhaps even doing harm along the way.

So they are not just pointlessly taking your money, they might also be robbing you of your health.

Vitamins from truly natural sources, usually plants, come with trace minerals, enzymes and other biochemicals. All of these help them work better with your biology.

For example, the natural form of vitamin E has a significantly higher anti-oxidant effect than the synthetic form.^3,4

Then I warned you to avoid a useless form of synthetic CoQ10. This is not the natural product that gives your cells energy, but an alien molecule whipped up by Big Agra from pesticide-laden tobacco leaves.

Now we've discovered that you can't even count on getting the herbs you pay for at many of the major chain stores.

The scandal has cast a shadow over all the honest people who provide honest supplements – including myself.

I care deeply about the health and well-being of my patients. And I am appalled at the dishonesty of many of these chains.

In New York State, the attorney general has accused GNC, Target, Walmart and Walgreens of selling bogus bottles of ginseng, gingko biloba, St. John's Wort, valerian root and other herbs.⁵

Investigators charge that four-out-of-five of the bottles they tested from the stores' shelves didn't contain even a bit of DNA from the herb on the label.

Instead, investigators found most of the capsules contained fillers, like rice scraps, spruce clippings, and houseplant shreds. Some other odd ingredients were peas, beans, radish, and asparagus.

Worst of all, investigators have charged that some of capsules contained wheat, which made them a health hazard to anyone who's allergic to the grain. In one case, these capsules were sold in a bottle labeled "wheat and gluten free."

State prosecutors have now demanded proof of source and that the herbs had been tested for the quality claimed on many of the bottles.

As a physician who cares deeply about the well-being of all my patients, I can vouch for every ingredient in each and every one of the supplements that I prescribe.

The most reputable suppliers provide a Certificate of Analysis, or COA. Every COA verifies that the ingredients have been tested to prove they contain the proper contents in their proper quantities.

COAs also tell you what's not in the ingredients. They confirm they've been tested and found to be free of toxic heavy metals, like mercury and lead. Among other tests, they show the ingredients are also free of microbial agents, like salmonella and E.coli.

COAs are essentially a pedigree for the product, and I make sure my products have the finest pedigrees.

For example, when I decided to put omega-3s in one of my products, I didn't settle for getting them from any old fish oil supplier. I know a lot of fish oil can't be trusted, because our rivers, lakes and oceans have become so polluted.

That's why I did so much research and formulated a safe and potent mixture of squid oil, krill oil, and another special fish oil. But before I bought the oils, I made sure they were pure and pollution free.

Heavy metal pollution becomes worse the higher you go up the food chain. Big fish have more mercury in them than little fish, because the big fish absorb this toxic metal from all the little fish they eat. That's why I used oil from krill, tiny crustaceans at the bottom of the food chain.

And to make sure the oils were free of toxins, I insisted they go through a rigorous, cold-filtration process. Afterward, tests by Consumerlab.com revealed the oils were free of chemicals, like PCBs and solvents, as well as heavy metals, like mercury.

In fact, the cold-filtration process even boosted the oils' levels of anti-inflammatory fats by 115 percent of what I reported on the label.

I doubt than anybody at GNC, Target, Walmart, Walgreens or any other mega-outlet went through as much trouble as I did to ensure the quality of any of their products.

So here's my advice: You get what you pay for. Good-quality herbs and supplements don't come cheap. They take a lot of hard work and dedication to get right.

You need to deal with someone you can trust. So don't be afraid to ask questions about where their products came from. If they can't provide specific details, that's a red flag.

And always ask to see their COA. We print ours right on the bottle.

How to remove Superfish and its certificate from your Lenovo® PC

What is Superfish?

Superfish is a piece of software that Lenovo has admitted to pre-installing on many of its laptops to "enhance the shopping experience" of its users. However, the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team calls Superfish a "man-in-the-middle attack" because of how it "intercepts users' web traffic to provide targeted advertisements."

Why is Superfish so dangerous?

Superfish snoops in on your web browsing and secretly slips ads into webpages. But the really dangerous part is that it's pre-installed with root certificate authority, which allows it to impersonate any server's security certificate.

If this certificate is compromised by hackers, you could be tricked into logging in to a fake website and giving hackers your password. Because of Superfish, any of your accounts—including encrypted bank accounts—could be easily compromised.

Will restoring from a backup help?

Superfish has been pre-installed by Lenovo. Therefore, restoring your computer to factory condition from either a backup partition or a backup DVD will not solve the problem if Superfish is also part of your backup. Superfish would only be reinstalled, too.

So if you ever use a backup to restore your system, you may need to again remove Superfish and its root security certificate from your system.
