Video Documentation Reveals Commercial Aircraft Spraying Chemtrails To Change Climate

In 1990 the Department of Defense published a “Chemtrails” manual for pilot training at the USAF Academy..
In the mid-1990′s unmarked military aircraft were observed spraying aerosols from ports located in the wings and around the exhaust of the jet engines.
In recent years, civilian aircraft are
increasingly contracted to secretly spray aerosols through ports located
near the engines and airframe. This video provides a well documented example of commercial aircraft spraying chemtrails over Gainsville and North Florida involving AIRTRAN airways.
IPCC scientists also admit CO2 from
aircraft will grow 3% per year but make no recommendation about using
alternative forms of travel.
While not admitting that aircraft are
spraying tons of aerosols into the atmosphere these same scientists say
that contrails and artificial clouds have a profound effect on the
climate and tend to warm global surface temperatures.

United States Senate will vote this summer on an amendment to overturn Citizens United and McCutcheon.
If you missed it, the United States Senate will vote this summer on an amendment to overturn Citizens United and McCutcheon.
Nobody has done more than Public Citizen over the past four years to build up to this moment.
But we have some serious work to do so that this upcoming vote is a major step closer to the amendment required to rescue our democracy from billionaires and Big Business.
In about an hour, Public Citizen’s board of directors will be sitting down for its semi-annual meeting. This is where we formalize our policy and spending priorities for the next six months.

Public Citizen and "We the People" vs. the Koch Brothers

Yet the Koch Brothers and other plutocratic forces are feverishly attempting to undermine our democracy under cover of supposed constitutional rights afforded them by severely misguided U.S. Supreme Court rulings like Citizens United and McCutcheon.

As part of Public Citizen, you’ve helped build the momentum for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United and McCutcheon.
And now the U.S. Senate is expected to vote on just such an amendment later this term.

Ellen Catherine Flinter February 7,1949- May 2,2014 Natural Cancer Cures
Ellen Catherine Flinter, Of Belmont, MA passed away on Friday, May 2,
2014 from 4th stage liver cancer at Brigham and Women Hospital,Boston,Mass.
Ellen was born on February 7, 1949, in Waterbury, Ct. to Benjamin and Margaret (Sullivan) Flinter and lived her entire childhood in the north end of Waterbury where she was surrounded by a rich network of extended family.
She graduated from St. Thomas School and Waterbury Catholic High School and went on to earn her BA from St. Joseph College in Hartford, Ct and her Masters Degree in Social Work from Boston University in 1983.
She loved the city of Boston and its environs and remained there for the rest of her life.
Ellen became a licensed social worker in 1985 and began working at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in 1986, serving the citizens of the Commonwealth as a Health Care Facility Specialist. She served as the West Region Manager of Public Health Care Quality managing the auditing and the inspection of nursing home facilities after managing 2 regions at once for 2 years.
Ellen’s career was devoted to protecting and ensuring quality of care and safety for patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and other facilities. She was promoted to the role of regional manager in 2005, where she supervised nurses and social workers who inspected all licensed health care facilities in the western region of the state.
She was a teacher and mentor to scores of other health care professionals, and held everyone to her exacting standards of quality.
Most of all, Ellen was the very proud mother of Gregory, her beautiful son and pride and joy in life. She loved him every minute of every day. She leaves him with wonderful memories of their explorations and outings to Boston’s parks and beaches, but most of all, with the memory of her deep devotion and unending love for him.
In addition to her son, Gregory Raymond of Belmont, she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret Flinter and Paul Freundlich of Higganum, Ct; her adored nephew, Rob Freundlich, and a network of family and friends who supported her during her life and during her illness.
She was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Margaret, and her brother, Raymond (1990).
Visiting hours in the Stanton Funeral Home 786 Mt. Auburn St. (Rt16) Watertown, MA on Tuesday, May 6th, from 4-8pm. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church, Watertown on Wednesday, May 7th at 10:30 am.
In accordance with Ellen’s wishes, cremation will follow with interment of her ashes at a later date Calvary Cemetery,Waterbury, Ct where she will join the family members that have gone before her.

Anne
Fonfa endured surgery for her own breast cancer but avoided toxic
radiation and chemotherapy. Instead, she overcame her cancer with a
variety of natural, alternative, and holistic methods. The same way
Anne used to be, many people who attend the Annie Appleseed conferences
are seriously ill with cancer. What they learn at the conference gives
them a bright ray of hope.
One
of the world’s leading holistic cancer doctors, Tony Jimenez, M.D., was
a featured speaker at the 2014 conference. He revealed a breakthrough
in virotherapy, telling the audience: “You are the first people in the
United States who are hearing this! This will blow your mind. I’ve never
seen anything that produces results like this!”
The
breakthrough is a “virotherapy” called Rigvir. It’s was developed in
Latvia, where it has passed all phases of clinical trials on almost
2,000 patients. The results of the clinical trials are convincing and
impressive. For example, stomach cancer patients in the control group
had a 24 percent survival rate. The patients treated with Rigvir
survived at double that rate –48 percent.
Rigvir
was registered in Latvia in 2004 as an anti-cancer drug. A prominent
Latvian oncologist disparaged Rigvir until he got cancer. After he used
it to get rid of his cancer, he became one of Rigvir’s biggest
cheerleaders.
Rigvir
works on a wide variety of cancers including melanoma, colorectal,
pancreatic, bladder, kidney, prostate, lung, uterine, lymphosarcoma,
etc. It triggers an immune response and seeks and destroys cancer cells.
A virus that heals?
Viruses
are harmful, right? Not always! Surprisingly, the Rigvir virus is found
in the gut of healthy children. Rigvir is short for “Riga virus” --
Riga being the capital of Latvia. Rigvir is a microscopic living
organism with unique properties that kill tumors without hurting healthy
cells.
After
Rigvir invades the tumor cell, the virus replicates, causing the tumor
cell to rupture and die. Rigvir breaks down cancer cells, stimulates the
immune system to reject the tumor, and promotes apoptosis (programmed
cell death, i.e., cancer cell suicide).
This is the polar opposite of chemotherapy drugs. Chemo impairs or destroys the immune system, while Rigvir boosts it.
Dr.
Jimenez remarked, “I’ve been to 70 countries, and I’ve never seen a
medicine that’s not a chemo drug that has so much research behind it.
You can tell I’m pretty excited about Rigvir.”
Rigvir
has none of the side effects of chemo. The only side effect that some
people feel is a temperature of 99 degrees Fahrenheit that might last
for three days. Concerning that side effect, Dr. Jimenez said, “Big
deal.”
Dr.
Jimenez decided to take Rigvir therapy for himself because it’s not
harmful and because he thought it could benefit his health. He was
already the picture of health and vitality before taking Rigvir. He
said, “Within three days, tests showed a significant improvement in my
immune system, which I thought was pretty good [in the first place].
This shows that we all have room for improvement in our immune system.”
He didn’t get the mild, temporary fever side-effect.
Dr. Jimenez said, “Rigvir is a cancer medicine -- a medication approved
for cancer. It’s bionanotechnology -- not an alternative, complementary
medicine. It’s the most potent immune modulator I’ve ever seen.”
At
this writing, Rigvir is unavailable anywhere in the United States. You
can get it in Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, the United Arab Ermirates, and a
few other places in that part of the world. There’s only one place you
can get it in the Western Hemisphere: at Dr. Jimenez’s Hope 4 Cancer
clinic in Tijuana (www.Hope4Cancer.com).
Rigvir
is only one treatment among many that Dr. Jimenez offers at Hope 4
Cancer. He has used laetrile since 1988 without seeing a single case of
the cyanide toxicity that critics claim is a hazard of ths remedy. He
says it’s “very, very difficult to have cyanide toxicity with laetrile.”
He also uses an intravenous form of artemisinin (see Issue #382
for more), intravenous curcumin, nutritional therapies, and

One.” Some patients come to Dr. Jimenez in such a toxic condition that
it’s first necessary to open up the channels of elimination before
attacking the cancer cells.
Conventional doctor shuts his ears to the truth
Dr.
Jimenez talked about one case in which a woman with metastasized liver
cancer came to him for help. Her doctor at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles
had given her just two months to live. After she got rid of her cancer
in Tijuana, she returned to Los Angeles, where doctors declared her
“cancer free.”
She asked them, “Would you like to know what I’m doing?”
They replied, “No, but whatever you’re doing is working. Keep on doing it.”
Concerning
the reaction of those Los Angeles doctors, conference organizer Ann
Fonfa remarked, “That’s good, and it’s also stupid.” It is indeed good
that the Los Angeles doctors urged a patient to keep on doing whatever
was working, but it’s stupid to remain deliberately ignorant of holistic
therapies that obviously work.
Another
speaker, Chris Wark, told the story of his recovery from cancer. He
began his speech by saying, “I have nothing to sell you. I paid my own
way to be here. I’m here to share my story with you in person and to
share the information that saved my life.” Chris is the author of a blog
called “Chris Beat Cancer” (www.ChrisBeatCancer.com).
At the age of 26, newlywed Chris got the bad news that he had Stage
Three colon cancer. He’d felt low energy and got strange abdominal aches
that would come and go, but it was hard for him to tell exactly where
the pain was coming from.
Doctors
found a tumor the size of a golf ball in his intestine. They rushed him
onto the operating table and took out a third of his large intestine,
after which they told him, “We took out everything we could see, but you
need months of chemo.”

Right
after surgery the first meal the hospital fed Chris was a sloppy joe.
He didn’t know much about nutrition at the time, but he thought to
himself: “This doesn’t seem like the best meal for me right now. Maybe
some applesauce or soup or something.” Nevertheless, he ate the sloppy
joe because he hadn’t eaten for a couple days and was hungry.
Chris
said he has heard many cancer patients tell him about their regrets
after undergoing conventional treatment. They tell him, “I knew I
shouldn’t have done it.” He believes it’s crucial for cancer patients to
listen to their inner voice and to have the courage to follow it.
Chris
prayed, “God, show me what to do. If there’s another way, show me.” Two
days later he received a book in the mail out of the blue. The title of
the book was God’s Ultimate Way to Health. It tells the story of a man who beat colon cancer without any conventional therapy whatsoever -- natural methods only.
Chris
knew the book was an answer to his prayer. He radically changed his
diet, threw out all of his junk food, juiced, and went raw vegan. He
said, “When you do alternatives, you’re swimming against the current.
Cancer isn’t a physical battle. It’s a mental battle. I stayed the
course. I found a naturopath and took every supplement I could afford.”
He also did high dose vitamin C by IV.
After
working with the naturopath for 90 days, Chris added some cooked food
to his diet, including three servings of animal protein per week. The
food and supplement regimen changed his bioterrain so that it became
inhospitable to cancer cells. He also dealt with a hidden cause of
cancer: stress. Chris told the audience, “You have to create a peaceful,
quiet life, and forgive everyone who has ever hurt you. Grudges give
you a sick heart, which will give you a sick body. You have to heal your
heart!”
Another speaker, psychotherapist Daniel Weber, Ph.D., also addressed the
issue of stress. The title of his talk was “Stress, Inflammation, and
Cancer.” There’s a link between cancer and unmanaged stress, which can
rip the immune system to shreds. To make matters worse, a cancer
diagnosis adds to a patient’s stress.
Dr.
Weber said that stress is only pressure. It’s how we react to that
pressure that determines whether good or bad things will happen. Stress
tells us that something needs to change -- that what we’ve been doing
may not be in line with what we should be doing.
Dr. Weber firmly believes that cancer patients and others should learn
from stress because “cancer is an opportunity to change. That’s all it
is. It’s another stressor that gives us an opportunity to change our
lives.”
That’s
a profound insight! If the cancer patient changes nothing or chooses
the wrong kind of change, a successful outcome is doubtful. Dr. Weber
strongly urges stressed out people to resolve the stress. Don’t self-medicate. Change!
Stress often goes together with depression, which Dr. Weber said “isn’t a
single disease but many. It’s a physiological problem. What goes on in
your gut affects your psyche 100 percent. Do emotions cause cancer? No. A failure to learn from emotions can cause cancer. Malice is destructive. But standing up for yourself and arguing can be healthy.”
Bringing
stress under management is essential for any cancer patient trying to
recover from the disease. Granted, that’s easier said than done. He
suggested several ways, including exercise, yoga, tai chi, and qigong.
Stress
is a two-edged sword. Dr. Weber asserted: “When stress is too much, we
break. When there’s not enough stress, we wither.” He explained it this
way: “If your challenge is greater than your skill, that causes stress.
If your skill is greater than your challenge, that also causes stress.
(For example, brilliant people staring at a TV in a retirement home.)
Bring your skill and challenge into balance.”
Words of wisdom
Dr. Weber concluded his remarks with this meditation: “Be like
water: empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. When you put
water into a cup, it becomes the cup. Water flows, dissolves, dances,
falls, rises, is one with everything. In the river it’s never the same.
Water can flow or it can surge. Water can be still or can pour from the
heavens. Water is benign or passionate. Be water, my friends.”
Another speaker, Dr. Ashwin Mehta, M.D., addressed the topic of stress
indirectly in his talk about “Optimum Sleep During Cancer Treatment and
Beyond.” His subspecialty is sleep medicine. Stress can ruin the quality
of sleep -- and good quality sleep is essential for recovery from
disease. Deep sleep is a time when the immune system rebuilds itself.
How your brain “defrags its hard drive”
Here’s another way to look at it. Dr. Mehta said that the deep
state of sleep known as REM (for Rapid Eye Movement -- the eyes move
rapidly beneath the closed eyelids) is like “defragging the hard drive.”
If you’ve ever watched a computer screen when a hard drive is
defragged, you’ve seen the chaotic jumble of file fragments on the
hard-drive as they’re put into good order. Something like that
apparently happens during REM sleep.
Dr.
Mehta remarked that chronic pain and poor sleep are linked. People who
suffer from chronic pain and negative moods generally aren’t satisfied
with the quality of their sleep, which can lead to a downward spiral.
That being the case, pain management and a change of attitude are
crucial.
He
offered many tips to improve the quality of sleep and warned, “Don’t
watch TV just before you go to sleep.” Instead, he suggested a bedtime
ritual that might include breathing exercises, muscle relaxation, guided
imagery, and chamomile or passion flower tea. For general stress
relief, he recommends such things as meditation, yoga (but not “hot
yoga”), acupuncture, massage, and tai chi.
Dr.
Mehta’s grandmother once gave him a piece of homespun advice: “After
lunch, rest a while. After dinner, walk a mile.” He explained that
afternoon naps are important and helpful unless you’re having poor
quality sleep at night. He added that mild exercise in the evening can
be part of a winding-down ritual that leads to a good night’s sleep.
What
if you wake up in the middle of the night? Dr. Mehta says not to worry
about that because it’s normal. Just as it’s o.k. to have a nap in the
afternoon, it’s also o.k. to be awake during part of the night. He said,
“Don’t try willfully to fall asleep. Sleep is a surrender, a letting
go. What’s needed is serenity, contentment, gratitude, and tranquility
to get you in the mood for the surrender that leads you to drift into
sleep.”
What
if you just plain can’t get to sleep or wake up in the middle of the
night and can’t get back to sleep? In that case, Dr. Mehta said it’s not
good to spend too much time in bed when you’re not sleeping. It’s
better to get up for a while and go back to bed when you’re calm,
relaxed, and serene.
Dr.
Mehta said that wearable tech devices like FitBit are making older
techniques like a sleep log obsolete. As for melatonin, the popular
sleep remedy, he said he uses it only for jet lag.

Soros Put $80 Million Into Pot Battle

Billionaire hedge fund manager George Soros has funneled at least $80 million over the last 20 years to advocacy groups trying to legalize marijuana, The Washington Times reports.
Through donations to the nonprofit Drug Policy Alliance and others, Soros, 83, may be the cannabis crusade’s biggest supporter, along with the late Progressive Insurance Co. chairman, Peter B. Lewis, who reportedly contributed $40 million to the cause, according to the Times.

Soros also contributes to the ACLU and the Marijuana Policy Project, both of which fund legalization efforts. In 2013, the latter ranked Soros ninth on its list of most influential marijuana users, between No. 8 John Kerry and No. 10 Bill Maher, a proud pot smoker who once said he never made a secret he had tried pot, “about 50,000 times.”
"He said he had tried marijuana, enjoyed it, 'but it did not become a habit and I have not tasted it in many years,'” the MPP quotes Soros as saying.
His funding helped legalize recreational pot use in Colorado and Washington state and organizations benefitting from his contributions are working to get the issue on Florida’s ballot as well as similar legislation passed in Delaware, Hawaii, Maryland, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, according to the Times.
In a 2010 Wall Street Journal op-ed piece, Soros spelled out his reasons for supporting legal pot.
“Like many parents and grandparents, I am worried about young people getting into trouble with marijuana and other drugs,” he wrote.
“The best solution, however, is honest and effective drug education. One survey after another indicates that teenagers have better access than most adults to marijuana—and often other drugs as well—and find it easier to buy marijuana than alcohol. Legalizing marijuana may make it easier for adults to buy marijuana, but it can hardly make it any more accessible to young people. I'd much rather invest in effective education than ineffective arrest and incarceration."
He also cited the billions in taxpayer dollars spent on criminalizing marijuana -- 40 percent of all drug arrests are marijuana related, according to Soros -- the root of which he said was to punish Mexican immigrants who purportedly "smoked the killer weed."
A majority of both Republicans and Democrats – 67 percent and 71 percent, respectively – say the federal enforcement of marijuana laws is not worth the cost, though 59 percent of Democrats favor legal pot compared with just 37 percent of Republicans, according to a 2013 Pew Research Center poll. The same poll indicated that for the first time ever, a majority of Americans, 52 percent, favor legalizing marijuana, an 11-point gain from a 2010 survey.

The Supreme Court just issued its ruling on McCutcheon V. FEC and it's a disaster for our democracy. We're still figuring out all the implications of this decision – and ways to fight it – but in the meantime, one thing is clear: it's time to get organized. Crisis in Ukraine Prompts Renewed Focus on U.S. Nuclear Posture

As tensions between Russia and Ukraine escalate, U.S. foreign policy hawks contend that Russian aggression merits a second look at the U.S. military's uncertain nuclear modernization plans.
Under President Vladimir Putin, Russia has become increasingly anti-democratic and hostile to the United States, said Mark Schneider, senior analyst at the National Institute for Public Policy. For the United States, this should stir concerns about Russia's nuclear intentions.
"U.S. nuclear modernization programs are minimal. We are basically replacing systems only when they're 40 to 80 years of age," he said March 19 on Capitol Hill. "Assuming everything went perfectly [with future budgets], and we actually had the funding, nothing [new] will be operational before 2020."
Putin announced Russia's annexation of the Ukrainian province of Crimea on Tuesday. Since then, Russian forces have seized Crimean bases and pushed out Ukrainian forces, according to reports.
During Putin's two presidencies, Russia has invaded two countries -- Georgia in 2008 and Ukraine. Putin previously held the presidency from 2000 to 2008.
"In both the Russian actions in Georgia and the Ukraine, the U.S. unfortunately made no significant effort to deter the events before they happened, and no real penalty was imposed on Russia for what it did in these situations," Schneider said.
President Barack Obama on March 20 announced sanctions against Russian officials and Putin allies.
The U.S. nuclear triad -- comprised of land-based ballistic missiles, long-range bombers and submarines that can launch ballistic missiles -- is aging and in need of modernization or replacement. Russia's military activities in Ukraine may push the U.S. government to move forward with procuring new weapons, said Loren Thompson, an analyst at the Lexington Institute, an Arlington, Va.-based think tank.
The most expensive leg of the triad to modernize is the Ohio-class submarine replacement, which the Navy wants to begin building in 2021. At about $6 billion per copy, the service will likely struggle to fit procurement costs into its shipbuilding budget, which is about $15 billion per year.
The Air Force also intends to purchase a long-range strike bomber at $550 million per aircraft to replace the B-2 and B-52, Undersecretary of the Air Force Eric Fanning said earlier in March. He indicated that the price of the aircraft is causing the service to cut back on desired capabilities.
Although the Air Force plans to start building the new bombers in the mid 2020s, officials want to delay certification for nuclear operation until the 2040s, Thompson said. "If concern about a resurgent Russian threat persists, though, it may move up the date when the new bomber can contribute to nuclear deterrence," he wrote in a March 20 editorial for Forbes.
The service soon must also decide whether to upgrade its collection of Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles or pursue new delivery vehicles. It is conducting an analysis of alternatives due later this year.
"The most important military consideration that Vladimir Putin overlooked in mounting his annexation of Crimea is how it would bolster the resolve of western nations to maintain their defenses. ... Many people in Washington might have been prepared to forego spending money on a new generation of nuclear weapons before Putin made his move, but he has now changed the strategic calculation," Thompson said.
Meanwhile, Russia is building its next-generation nuclear fleet. The first of the country's new Yasen-class attack submarine was delivered last year.
"The announced program involves modernization of about 98 percent of the ground-based ICBM force by 2021. They have announced a new heavy bomber which would be deployed somewhere around 2025 if they're successful," Schneider said. "The current pattern of modernization basically is one [in which] we will see complete modernization of Russia's nuclear portfolio before we modernize anything."
Schneider argued that the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty had the opposite effect on Russia than was intended. Instead of decreasing the number of nuclear weapons the country is allowed to have, the treaty contains loopholes that could allow Russia to expand its arsenal, he said.
"For example, the New START treaty does not mention ground mobile ICBMs, and all definitions in the treaty were changed to exclude coverage of ground mobile ICBMs. And they also eliminated the START treaty prohibitions on air-launched ICBMs or surface ship-launched ICBMS," he said. "Together those are very large loopholes that can be exploited to achieve capabilities far in excess of what's notionally permissible under the New START treaty."
Since that treaty was signed in 2010, Russia has announced increases to its intercontinental and submarine-launched ballistic missile fleets, he said. It plans to produce 400 new ICBM and SLBMs before 2020.
Schneider believes one of those new weapons, the RS-26, is an intermediate-range missile that would be illegal under the 1987 intermediate-range nuclear forces treaty.
Because the Obama administration has not called attention to Russian nuclear treaty violations, Congress should press executive branch officials to respond publicly to questions on arms control issues, said Paula DeSutter, former assistant secretary of state for verification, compliance, and implementation during the George W. Bush administration.

Enabling The Illusion of Political Change: Bush, Obama, Brennan, Geithner, and Gates

We're
six years into the Obama administration and nothing much has changed
concerning the most fundamental challenges facing the citizens of the
United States. Those challenges are:
Thanks to Snowden's revelations, we know that domestic spying capabilities and activities have expanded considerably since the Bush administration.
While the death count is lower, U.S. sponsored subversive activities and military interventions overseas are a constant. The destruction of Libya under the guise of humanitarian relief, the open source conspiracy to destroy Syria, and the fantasies about the Ukraine having anything to do with our national security are just three of many morally repugnant, profit-generating projections of power around the world conducted in our name. PNAC prevails.
Why and How Did this Happen?
There's an obvious answer to the why part of the question. Those very few individuals and interests in control are not willing to share any of their wealth.
Even if they were willing to share, their fear of
retribution for their massive crimes against the people is so profound;
the super elite seek safety through full spectrum surveillance and
control. They see their clumsy efforts as somehow controlling the
populace and offering protection from the imagined wrath of their
victims.
Endless war in Asia and serious subterfuge everywhere else provides a level of public distraction that those in charge hope will substitute reactive hysteria for a critical examination of the grand scam that the power elite use as the basis for their wealth and power.
How the seamless transition of policies between Bush and Obama occurred is a bit subtler although fairly simple in principle. You change parties, creating the illusion of change. At the same time, keep key figures from the previous administration are retained to sustain old policies under the mantle of a new party.
Bush becomes Obama on a substantive level while social issues are used to make people think that there's a real difference between the parties. For example, the Obama administration is supportive of gay rights issues but both gay Americans and those who oppose gay rights all suffer the consequences of a locked down economy in which resources are funneled to the super wealthy, domestic spying, and foreign adventures.
The careful placement high-level Bush operatives and a Wall Street shill in charge of critical elements of the government assured the preservation of right wing, neoconservative economic and foreign policies. Nothing of substance changed in 2008 or 2012.
During the 2008 presidential campaign, the liberal hope, as candidate Obama presented himself, indicated that he'd like Bush Secretary of Defense Robert Gates to remain in that position for the Obama administration. Gates said yes. It took five years to get out of Iraq, we're still in Afghanistan, and the policy of no defense system left behind is still in place bleeding billions from the Treasury every single day. Mission accomplished.
Just before the 2008 inauguration, president elect Obama announced his choice of Tim Geithner as Treasury Secretary. Geithner was head of the powerful New York Federal Reserve Bank during the critical period leading up to the 2008 financial collapse. As one of Wall Street's chief regulators, he told the world, it's all good, no problems here. We know how that worked out. Dutifully, Geithner assumed the role of Bush Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and carried out the biggest bailout in the history of the world. Despite the efforts of honest bankers and others like Elizabeth Warren, the wholesale looting of the Treasury by Wall Street continued. Socialism for the extremely rich and survival of the fittest for the rest of us is the motto.
The expansion of domestic spying and continuation of secret operations around the world shows that a nominal Democrat can do just as much damage to the Constitution as a right wing Republican. A carryover from the Bush administration, John Brennan, made happen. Brennan latest work for Obama is Director of the CIA. As Robert Parry pointed out in a recent article, Brennan was at the center of 1984 like activities under Bush. Under Brennan, the CIA stands accused of cyber sabotage against congressional committees to block, of all things, an investigation into CIA prisoner abused by the Bush administration.
As the saying goes, people can have differing beliefs but not different facts. The roles and products of Obama, Brennan, Geithner, and Gates are indisputable facts.
There is no Democratic Party, no Republican Party. There's just The Money Party. It's the real power behind the theatrics referred to as a two party political system. - Ending the usurpation of individual rights by the national intelligence cabal; and
- Freeing the nation and the world from the endless insertion of U.S. intelligence and military operations throughout the world.
Thanks to Snowden's revelations, we know that domestic spying capabilities and activities have expanded considerably since the Bush administration.
While the death count is lower, U.S. sponsored subversive activities and military interventions overseas are a constant. The destruction of Libya under the guise of humanitarian relief, the open source conspiracy to destroy Syria, and the fantasies about the Ukraine having anything to do with our national security are just three of many morally repugnant, profit-generating projections of power around the world conducted in our name. PNAC prevails.
Why and How Did this Happen?
There's an obvious answer to the why part of the question. Those very few individuals and interests in control are not willing to share any of their wealth.
Endless war in Asia and serious subterfuge everywhere else provides a level of public distraction that those in charge hope will substitute reactive hysteria for a critical examination of the grand scam that the power elite use as the basis for their wealth and power.
How the seamless transition of policies between Bush and Obama occurred is a bit subtler although fairly simple in principle. You change parties, creating the illusion of change. At the same time, keep key figures from the previous administration are retained to sustain old policies under the mantle of a new party.
Bush becomes Obama on a substantive level while social issues are used to make people think that there's a real difference between the parties. For example, the Obama administration is supportive of gay rights issues but both gay Americans and those who oppose gay rights all suffer the consequences of a locked down economy in which resources are funneled to the super wealthy, domestic spying, and foreign adventures.
The careful placement high-level Bush operatives and a Wall Street shill in charge of critical elements of the government assured the preservation of right wing, neoconservative economic and foreign policies. Nothing of substance changed in 2008 or 2012.
During the 2008 presidential campaign, the liberal hope, as candidate Obama presented himself, indicated that he'd like Bush Secretary of Defense Robert Gates to remain in that position for the Obama administration. Gates said yes. It took five years to get out of Iraq, we're still in Afghanistan, and the policy of no defense system left behind is still in place bleeding billions from the Treasury every single day. Mission accomplished.
Just before the 2008 inauguration, president elect Obama announced his choice of Tim Geithner as Treasury Secretary. Geithner was head of the powerful New York Federal Reserve Bank during the critical period leading up to the 2008 financial collapse. As one of Wall Street's chief regulators, he told the world, it's all good, no problems here. We know how that worked out. Dutifully, Geithner assumed the role of Bush Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and carried out the biggest bailout in the history of the world. Despite the efforts of honest bankers and others like Elizabeth Warren, the wholesale looting of the Treasury by Wall Street continued. Socialism for the extremely rich and survival of the fittest for the rest of us is the motto.
The expansion of domestic spying and continuation of secret operations around the world shows that a nominal Democrat can do just as much damage to the Constitution as a right wing Republican. A carryover from the Bush administration, John Brennan, made happen. Brennan latest work for Obama is Director of the CIA. As Robert Parry pointed out in a recent article, Brennan was at the center of 1984 like activities under Bush. Under Brennan, the CIA stands accused of cyber sabotage against congressional committees to block, of all things, an investigation into CIA prisoner abused by the Bush administration.
As the saying goes, people can have differing beliefs but not different facts. The roles and products of Obama, Brennan, Geithner, and Gates are indisputable facts.
There is no Democratic Party, no Republican Party. There's just The Money Party. It's the real power behind the theatrics referred to as a two party political system. The party has no permanent friends or enemies, just permanent interests; preserved at any cost as long as the costs and suffering are borne by the people.
